Sally Ann (Grier) Tallman passed to her Lord in Heaven on Sunday, April 14, 2013.  She was born on September 25, 1936 to the late Frank and Genevieve (Byers) Grier.

Sally was a member of the Barnesville Class of 1954 where she was an active participant in G.A.A., Glee Club, F.H.A. and Y-Teens.  In her earlier career, Sally was employed by the U.S. Naval Department in Washington, D.C.  Eventually  returning to Barnesville,  Sally worked at Beryl's Dress Shop beside her mother Genevieve (Byers) Grier who was operator and owner of the shop.  She was a part-time employee at the Fin, Feather & Fur Pet Shop in Barnesville where she could enjoy her true passion---animals, particularly dogs.  At her passing, Sally was the Vice-President of Madison Property Management, Inc.  In addition, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Sally's proudest achievement in life was her family.  As a homemaker, she provided a beautiful home and confortable setting for her family.  Her favorite pastime was visiting and conversing with her friends and neighbors, both at Atwood Lake and on Euclid Avenue.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Grier, her mother, Genevieve (Byers) Grier and a brother, John (Helen) Grier.

Sally is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Robert Tallman: three children, Jay (Rhonda) Tallman of Grove City, OH, John Tallman and Jeff (Denise Gagliardo) Tallman of Barnesville; chosen daughter, Kari Webster (Jim) Mullan of Queensbury, NY; three grandchildren, Kristian Mullan (Bart) Kinney, Tyler (Madalyn) Mullan and Kyle Mullan - all of Queensbury, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Denver) Moore, Cadiz, OH and nieces, Carol (Randy) Schuckert, N. Canton, OH; and Janet (Sonny)  Jacobs, Cadiz, OH; niece, Jennifer (Shaun) Immel and their children, Zack, Rachel, and Evelyn Immel.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 11 am to 1 pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, OH where memorial services will be held at 1 pm.  Interment will be at Crestview Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
