Ruth Ann Wehr, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Thursday morning, November 10, 2011 at her home. She was born July 10, 1928 in Temperanceville, Ohio to the late Patrick A. and Bertha (McLaughlin) McCort. Ruth was a graduate from Somerton High School, member of the Assumption Church in Barnesville, Catholic Women's Club, and Ohio Bell Pioneers. She was a retired operator for Ohio Bell Telephone of 31 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband - Earl William Wehr (11/2/1999); 3 brothers - Frederick, Charles, and Justin McCort; and 2 sisters - Mary McCort and Lucy Mansfield. Surviving are a son - Terry (Debbie) Wehr of Barnesville; 3 grandchildren - Jason (Chantel) Polascak of Lewis Center, Ohio, Courtney (Matt) Fish of Westerville, Ohio, and Kelsey Wehr of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; 3 great-grandchildren - Kaylee and Bella Polascak, and Kacey Fish 2 brothers - Joseph McCort and Patrick (Norma) McCort both of Temperanceville; and 2 sisters - Edna Steele of Bellaire and Adelaide (Don) Moore of Zanesville. Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10 AM at the Barnesville Assumption Church, 306 West Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Msgr. Mark Froehlich officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Barnesville. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Barnesville Assumption Church, 306 West Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
