Ruth A. Gatten, 69, of Hendrysburg passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born September 23, 1941 in Salesville, Ohio to the late Fred McGee and Ila Margaret (Ruby) McGee Toohey. She was a retired LPN at Barnesville Hospital after 43 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter - Terri Beihl and sister - Nancy Hannahs. Surviving are her husband - John K. Gatten, Sr.; 2 Sons - Ron (Lisa) Shilling of Barnesville and John (Lisa) Gatten of Belmont; 4 Daughters - Dody (John) Greenwood of Flushing, Becky Vorhees of Barnesville, Toni (Jay) Rockwell of Barnesville, and Tammy (Bill) Hutchinson of Glencoe; Sister - Rosemary Owshoski of Senecaville; Brother - Charlie McGee of Powhattan; 19 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren. Visitataion will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 4-7 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11 AM with Rev. Andrew Woods officiating. Burial follows in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
