Ruth Ann Gallagher, 80, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on February 29, 1944 in Temperanceville, Ohio to the late James and Rita (Weisend) Gallagher.

Ruth was graduate of Shenandoah High School. She was a former laborer for GNC Workshop and retired from Paramount as a janitor. Ruth was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Temperanceville. She just genuinely enjoyed life, she loved helping out, sitting on the front porch, and hanging out at the Styling House with her friends. Ruth also enjoyed doing needle point.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Don Gallagher, Paul Gallagher, Jack (Nancy) Gallagher, and Philip Gallagher.

Ruth is survived by her friends who was more like family from the Styling House, Cathy Martin, Beth Hayes, Tammy Cunningham, Melinda Carpenter, Mady Brown, and Connie Huntsman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 10:30am until the time of Mass at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 32118 Temperanceville Rd., Quaker City, Ohio with Father Dave Cornett officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Temperanceville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Marys Church of Temperanceville or Hospice of Guernsey.
