Russell "Rusty" Earl Carpenter, 52, of Barnesville died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.  Russell was born on July 14, 1964 in Barnesville, Ohio to Katherine Mae (Lucas) Carpenter and the late Charles Robert Carpenter, Sr.

Russell is a 1983 graduate of Barnesville High School.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Karen Sue Carpenter and Linda Mae May.

Russell is survived by his mother, Katherine Carpenter of Barnesville; sister, Marguerite (James) Gamble of Woodsfield; brother, Charley Robert (Michelle) Carpenter, Jr. of Barnesville; six nieces and nephews: David (Nellie) Huntsman of Barnesville, Laura Lee (Tyler) Milosavlyjevic of Jerusalem, Aaron (Pamela) Huntsman of Barnesville, Tyler Carpenter of Barnesville, Jacquie Carpenter of Barnesville and Russell A. Carpenter of Barnesville; several great-nieces and nephews; and best friend, Al Sanchez of Barnesville.

According to Russell's wishes, there will be no services held.  Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
