Roland E. Flesher 82, of Quaker City, Oh died Saturday August 14, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Barberton the son of the late Harley Wm. and Margaret Delilah (English) Flesher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. A member of American Legion Post 337 Batesville, Oh and a Methodist by faith. He was a truck driver for Eclipse Motor Lines and heavy equipment operator for Ohio River Colliers. Preceded in death by his wife Evelyn M. (Johnson) Flesher and sister Evelyn Forsch and brother Lee Flesher. Surviving are 2 sons: Michael (Sherri) and John Flesher both of Quaker City. 3 daughters: Susan Chittester of Bethesda, Barbara Flesher of Quaker City and Patricia (Larry) Knellinger of New Concord, sister Eleanor (James) Canning of Mansfield, Oh, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial Contributions are to be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., P. O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Oh. 43725. Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date.
