Robert Lee Wells, 84, of Barnesville passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Walton Home.  He was born on March 9, 1930 in Guernsey County to the late Pod and Blanche (Finley) Wells.

Robert is a veteran of the US Army.  He is a member of the VFW Post 2792 and  American Legion Post 168.  He was a member of local clubs where he collected knives, guns and coins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Pekari) Wells; infant daughter, Lee Ann; 6 brothers: Denver, Jack, Earl, Herbert, Don and Russell Wells; and 4 sisters: Louvenna Wells, Juanita McGlumphy, Goldie Clark and Marjorie Wells.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Tina (Greg) Bartram of Dublin; 2 grandsons, Quentin and Ethan Bartram of Dublin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11am with Jamie Helmick officiating.  Burial will follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Military Services will be conducted by Guernsey County Honor Guard at 12:30 PM at the cemetery.
