Robert Lee Stephen, 84, of Boston, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at his home. He was born on September 4, 1935, in Boston, Ohio to the late Earl and Cleo (Swallie) Stephen. He was retired from the Marietta Local Labors Union #639 and was a member of the Army Reserves. Robert loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, trapping, and digging ginseng. His biggest love was his family. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Martha (Miller) Stephen; children Bobby (Michelle) Stephen of Boston, Roger A. (Wendy) Stephen of Baileys Mills, Larry (Cindy) Stephen of Boston, and Becky (Joseph) Wells of Barnesville; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Kathy (Lance) Lindenberger. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald Stephen, and a special uncle Roger Swallie. Due to government restrictions, there will be a graveside service on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 1pm at Old Boston Cemetery in Boston, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
