Robert "Bob" Dale Steele, 77, of Fairview, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at his home. He was born on February 26, 1939 in Malaga, Ohio to the late Raymond and Hazel Marie (Farrabee) Steele.

Bob was a member of the Pennyroyal Ruritan, Fairview Fire Department, a council member for many years in Fairview, and served as the Mayor for 6 years and Village Clerk in Fairview.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Dale Steele on January 15, 2011; brothers, John, Joe, and Roy Steele; and a sister, Mary Bell Steele.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Kay (Wells) Steele who he married on September 4, 1962; son, James Robert (Tina) Steele of Fairview; daughter, Carla Jo Steele of Barnesville; grandchildren, Andy (Stevie) Juzwiak, Jason (Mallori) Juzwiak, and Amanda (Mark) Goodman; great-grandchildren, Ty Goodman, Dakota Goodman, and Lane Weber; 2 brothers, Paul Steele of Kimbolton and Jim (Dottie) Steele of Canton; sister-in-law, Becky Steele of Barnesville, and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 11 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM with Rev. Tom Detling officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Ohio.
