Richard L. Frasher, 85, of Barnesville died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at his home. He was born on July 30, 1928 in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Henry Frasher and Edith (Lewis) Frasher Elkins.
Richard attended Oak Grove Calvery Church. He was retired from Shamrock Conduit. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bluegrass and singing with several bands and loved going to the Barnesville Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (McBurney) Frasher; one great-great-grandson; and his sister, Patricia Frasher Allen.
He is survived by three children: Jeff (Sara) Frasher of Bridgeport, Mickey Stavely of Quaker City, and Cathy (Frank) Gadd of Kimbolton; sister, Linda (Charlie) Fitterer; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two great-great-grandsons; and special friend, Shirley Jozwiak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chesntut St., Barnesville. The service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11am with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
