Philip Ray Bunfill, 73, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 1, 1948 in Belmont County to Faith (Allar) Morris and the late Teddy M. Bunfill.
Phil was a graduate of Barnesville High School. He worked for Cravat Coal Company for 18 years, was owner and truck driver for Bunfill Trucking, and a farmer. He was a firefighter for the Fairview Fire Department. He enjoyed working on semis and farming. His biggest love was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he would take them on side by side rides and also enjoyed fishing when he had time.
Phil is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (Barton) Bunfill; children, Philip (Joyce) Bunfill, Kevin (Stefanie) Bunfill, Tommy (Beth) Bunfill, and Heide (David Frasher) Bunfill; grandchildren, PJ, Amber, Ashley, Matthew, Courtney, Caitlin, Abby, Dakota, Sierra, Brooklyn, Tyler, and Hayden; twenty-one great-grandchildren; mother, Faith Morris; sister, Penny Stottler; brothers, Tom (Lynn) Bunfill and Edward (Judy) Bunfill; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm with Rev. Clayton Coffey officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville. Masks are encouraged to be worn. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
