Peggy Lou Carter, 72, of Bethesda died 6/4/2013 in Wheeling Hospital after several months of illness.  She was born in Belmont County on 10/17/1940 to the late Charles and Ida Mae (Bennett) Kocher.

Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing her GameBoy and family get-togethers.  She provided over 28 years of dedicated service to ResCare Inc. in St. Clairsville.

In additition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Carter and 2 children: Brenda Lee and William (Ray-Ray) Carter.

She is survived by 2 sons: Ronald (Donna) Carter and David (Cathy) Carter both of Barnesville; 4 daughters: Janice Wagner of Bethesda, Mary Carter of Bethesda, Nancy (Gary) Rogers of Morristown and Vicky (Tom) Holland of Barnesville; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Ray) Maine of Crooksville, TN; 2 brothers: Dale (Shirley) Kocher of Mentor and Bob (Janet) Kocher of Belmont; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Rodney West officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 3 C's Cancer Support Group of Barnesville.
