Paul Raymond "Hash" Hashman, 83, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital. He was born on May 18, 1942 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Ervan T. and Dorothy Elizabeth "Dot" (Hamilton) Hashman. Paul retired as head of maintenance at Barnesville Schools. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Coors Light, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. Throughout his life, he enjoyed being outdoors, going to the ocean, hunting, fishing, and being out on his porch swing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul "Scott" Hashman; brothers, Darrell, Gerald, Ronald, Frank, and Joseph Hashman; and sister, Gloria Davis. Paul is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Darren) Long; grandchildren, Kelsey (Cody) Schaber, Jake Long, Paige (Nick) Hashman; great-grandchildren, Harrison and Lily; brothers, Richard Hashman, Randy Hashman, Robert "Butch" Hashman; sisters, Linda Baker and Katy Hashman; his dog, Two-Tie; former wife and friends, Anny (Pete) MacKinnon; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Southern Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
