Paul W. Gross, 85, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born on October 4, 1935, in Sutton, WV to the late Brantie and Gertrude (Dilley) Gross.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Loraine (Deskins) Gross on August 4, 2011; three sisters: Ruby, Ruth and Jan; and brothers: David and Stephen.

Paul is survived by his children, Kathy (Carl) Baum of Massillon, Robert (Katie) Gross of Quaker City, Diana "Cricket" Gross of Barnesville, and Timothy Gross of Quaker City; nine grandchildren: Daniel (Melissa) Baum, Christina Baum, Jeremy (Amanda) Baum, Robert Lee (Lasionna) Gross, Malissa (Charles) Gross, Brantie Gross, Gregory Gross, William Cody Gross and Michael Caleb (Nikki) Gross; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean McCourt; brothers: Robert D. Gross, Elliet (Nancy) Gross and Bill (Frances) Gross; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, the family has asked the public to please wear face masks for visitation  on Friday, September 17, 2021 from noon until 2pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  A graveside service will be held on Friday at Fairview Cemetery at 2:30pm with Pastor Joe Thornton officiating.
