Pearl "Evvonne" Clay, 71, of Fairview, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1952 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Harold Raymond and Mary Ann (Zonker) Anderson. Evvonne loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games on her tablet and bingo. In addition to her parents, Evvonne was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Ryan; two sisters, Mary Ann McMillen and Linda White; two brothers, Harold Raymond Anderson Jr. and Ernest Oliver Anderson Sr; and nephew, Matthew Scott Wagner. Evvonne is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Clay; and children, John (Christy) Clay, Tanya Roby; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene (Sam) Clary and Libby (Steve) Leavitt; her very special friend of over 50 years, Kay Fulop; her loving companions, Lucky and Smokey; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm with Reverend Tom Detling officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
