Ora D. Carpenter, 86, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on May 15, 1938, in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Everett E. and Tressie (Alexander) Carpenter. Ora attended the School of the Deaf in Columbus. She loved animals especially cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, Ora was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Ball; brothers, Guy (Mona) Carpenter, Ellsworth (Hazel) Carpenter, Donald (Norma) Carpenter, Sylvan (Mary) Carpenter, and Dale Carpenter. Ora is survived by several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews; and sister-in-law, Emma R. Carpenter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 10am until the service at 12pm with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
