Oleta Nola Garrett, 91, of Ashland, formerly of Barnesville, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Ashland Samaritan Hospital.  She was born on September 25, 1923 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James and Lucille (Harper) Gallagher.

While living in Barnesville, Oleta was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ.  After moving to Ashland, she attended the Ashland Church of Christ and was a member of their Church Bear Group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Garrett; twin children, James Clarence and Mary Joan; brother, James Gallagher; and a granddaughter that she raised, Diane Terry.

Oleta is survived by her two daughters: Susan Spotts of Ashland and Cindy (William) Leininger of Ashland; three grandchildren: Tim Long of Indiana, Todd (Kathy) Long of Ashland and Jessica (Brad) Cline of Ashland; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.  Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
