Myrtle Hudson, 83, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 2013 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born April 15, 1930 in Somerton, Ohio to the late William G. and Jennie Byrd (Morris) Drake.

Myrtle was a member and Deacon of Barnesville First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Ronald Dean Hudson, Sr.; daughter - Freda Mae Hudson; grandsons - Charles E. Briggs III and Thomas Joseph Sharp; granddaughter - Catherine Elizabeth Briggs; and 15 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a son - Ronald (Beth Ann) Hudson II of Barnesville; daughters - Wanda (Charles, Jr.) Briggs of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Penny Sharp of Barnesville, and Jennie (Roger) Clark of Somerton; grandchildren - Colin, Evan, John, Kim, Kelly, Eddie, Nicole, and Joshua; 21 great-grandchildren; and sisters - Edna and Betty.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 9 AM until the time of the service at 12 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Rev. Michael Mistic officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
