Miranda Lynn (Steed) Himes, 21, of Fletcher, NC, formerly of Barnesville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at her home.  She was born in Spring Hill, Florida on August 26, 1995.

Miranda was a 2013 graduate of Barnesville High School.  She was attending school in North Carolina to become a veterinarian technician.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Hargis; and great-grandparents: Rolland and Helen Hall, Donnie Carpenter and John Steed.

Miranda is survived by her husband, Michael Himes; parents: Fran and Jason Steed of Barnesville and William Hargis of Brooksville, FL; siblings: Carter and Peyton Steed, Christopher Tipton, and Ruben, Levi, Aleea and Jeanna Hargis; grandparents: John (Judy) Hutchison of Spring Hill, FL, Dennis (Tammy) Steed of Barnesville and Brenda Dixson of Brooksville, FL; great-grandparents: Mary Carpenter of Barnesville, Pauline Steed of Barnesville and Ethridge (Joyce) Dixson of Plant City, FL; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 1:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00pm with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
