Michael P. Ebeling, 70, of Somerton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at WVU-Wheeling Hospital. He was born on December 24, 1955 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late William E. and Mary Jean (Hagan) Ebeling.

Mike was a 1974 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was a retired coal miner for Consol Energy as a ramcar operator. Mike enjoyed the simple things in life, his red Karmann Ghia, his dogs, and he enjoyed mowing the grass, sometimes even mowing a few times a day.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ellen (Ray) Ebeling on October 25, 2017; and sister, Karen Lucas.

Mike is survived by his children, Katie (Stan) Lucas, Paul Ebeling, Lauren (Elvis) Abangapakwa ; grandchildren, Matthew (Sophia) Lucas, Mackenzie Lucas, and Nohan and Luca Abangapakwa; great-granddaughter, Oaklee Jo Lucas; sister, Lori (Tom) Fogle; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 11:00-1:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
