Melvin A. Krumrei, 91, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Walton Retirment Home. Melvin was born April 1, 1929 in Amberg, Wisconsin to the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Makovsky) Krumrei.
Melvin spent most of his life in Duluth, Minnesota where he worked as a tree doctor. He was the owner of Duluth Tree Service. He was a member of the Hawk Ridge Church of Christ in Duluth until he moved to Barnesville and joined the West Main Street Church of Christ. Melvin loved to bowl, travel and spend time outside.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceeded in death by his wife Alice (Reeves) Krumrei; two brothers, Ernest Krumrei and John Krumrei; and a sister Helen Elam.
Melvin is survived by his 4 children; Pam (Bob) Snyder, Patricia (Kieran) Murphy, Nick (Ruth) Krumrei, and Johnathan Krumrei; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and three siblings; Jim (Ruth) Krumrei, Caroline Glass, and Elaine Petry.
In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 3 until the time of service at 4pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
