Melinda Sue (Hibbs) Kemp, 58, of Belmont passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. Melinda was born in Barnesville on May 14, 1964 to the late James E. and Helen J. (Humphrey) Hibbs. Melinda was a 1982 graduate of Barnesville High School. She was active in 4-H, she helped with Belmont County Fair as the Dairy Advisor. Melinda enjoyed camping, riding the Harley with Greg, attending drag races and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Steelers. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Melinda was a wonderful wife, mom and Meme. In addition to her parents, Melinda was preceded in death by her nephews: Rob Kemp and Jon Toohey. Melinda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gregory Kemp; two sons: Josh (Whitney) Kemp and Jared (Jenny) Kemp; three grandchildren: Paige Nicole, Graham Joshua and Oliver James; sister, Mary Lou (Dale) Sudduth; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Betty Kemp; brothers-in-law: Jeff (Debbie) Kemp and Chris (Missy) Kemp; dogs: Heidi and Wahya; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 3-6pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1pm with Josh Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Level Cemetery in Belmont, Ohio.
