Melba Rebecca Swallie, 86, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 11, 1929 in Monroe County, Ohio to the late Lester and Myrtle (Stephen) Huntsman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Richard "Dick" Swallie; and siblings - Francis Huntsman, Roger Huntsman, Delbert Huntsman, Lena Hannahs, and Ruby Hannahs.

She is survived by her children - Steven D. (Bea) Swallie, Karen (Gary) Mayberry, and Vicki (Wes) Huntsman; 6 grandchildren - Steve (Michelle Hannahs) Swallie, Shea (Dustin) Reed, Ashley (Joey) Sellers, Josh (Eden Unkefer) Mayberry, Danielle (Chris) Parkhurst, and Taylor Huntsman; 4 great-grandchildren - Mackston, Mayson, Caden, and Jax; and sister -  Joan Gallagher; and many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
