Mary P. (Thomas) McBride, 94, of Hendrysburg died Thursday August 19, 2010 at O. S. U. Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 23, 1916 in Fairview, Ohio the daughter of the late John M. and Josephine (Bennett) Thomas. She retired from Star Nursing Home as a cook and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry N. "Slim" McBride; 3 brothers Ward, Ford and Harley Thomas; 4 sone; Floyd, Dwight, Dwayne and Ford "Buss"; 3 sisters Verna Johnson, Retta West and Matty Grier. She is survived by 5 sons; Gary (Linda) McBride of Jewett, Curtis (Maureen) McBride of Bethesda, Roger McBride and Brian (Theresa) McBride both of Hendrysburg and Randy McBride of Barnesville; 1 daughter Linda Moore of Hendrysburg; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Visitation will be Sunday August 22,2010 from noon until the time of service at 2pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N.
