Mary E. Stephens, 95, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening, September 13, 2011 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born March 20, 1916 in Monroe County, Ohio to the late Simon and Theresa (Burkhart) Burkhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - James O. Stephens (01/18/1994); son - Clarence Stephens; granddaughter - Tina Cook Starr; great-grandson - Alex David Shuman; and 2 brothers - Raymond Burkhart and Alfred Burkhart. Surviving are 2 daughters - Lilly Bryant of Barnesville and Ginny (Dave) Cook of Barnesville; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to Barnesville Health Care Center, 400 Carrie Avenue, Barnesville, Ohio.
