Mary L Carpenter, 94, of Barnesville, Ohio died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Astoria Place. She was born February 13, 1926 in Calais, Ohio to the late John and Elizabeth (Miller) Stephen.

Mary was a member of the Boston Church of Christ. She was a member of the Barnesville VFW post #2792 where she was president of the auxillary for 10 years.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceeded in death by her husband: Ronald E. Carpenter; daughter: Mary Kay Carpenter; daughter-in-law: Beverly Carpenter; and granddaughter: Jean.

Mary is survived by her two sons: Keith (Sheila) Carpenter and Karl Carpenter; grandchildren: Kevin, Duane, Sean, Melissa, Mary, and Karla; several great-grandchildren;and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 2-5 pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Services will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1 pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
