Mary Kay Carpenter, 72, of Canton, formerly of Barnesville passed away, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Laurels of Canton.  She was born in Malaga, Ohio on August 19, 1942 to Mary L. (Stephen) Carpenter and the late Ronald E. Carpenter.

She was a member of the VFW auxillary.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Carpenter; 3 sons: Kevin Carpenter, Duane Giesey and Sean Fazenbaker; 2 brothers: Keith Carpenter and Karl Carpenter; and 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 4-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11am with Pastor Rodney West officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
