Mary Lou Broomhall, 94, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 24, 1926 in Monroe County, Ohio to the late James and Blanche (Carpenter) Brownfield.

Mary Lou was a member of the East Main Street Church Street in Barnesville.  She was a member of Barnesville VFW Ladies Auxilary.  Mary Lou was the owner of Talk of the Town Beauty Salon.  She loved to watch birds, gardening and reading.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jack Broomhall; and her eight siblings: Mabel Starr, Woodrow Brownfield, Stella Mitchell, Oscar Brownfield, Bessie Bunting, Georgianna Starr, Herbert Brownfield and June Hanson.

Mary Lou is survived by her three children, Peggy Sykes of Barnesville, Dale (Marlene) Broomhall of Belmont, and Lisa (Ashvin) Patel of Wilmington, MA; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 5-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home where services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00am with Ev. Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow at Calais Cemetery.
