Mary Lucille Brown, age 94, of Morristown, Ohio died peacefully after a brief illness on March thirteenth. She was born August 26, 1921 at Bethesda, Ohio to Waldo and Madie (Barr) Smith.

Lucille was a homemaker and aided Dr. Brown during his long practice of medicine. She was a member of the Belmont County Medical Auxillary, Zane Twig of Barnesville Hospital, Beth Park Garden Club of Bethesda. Lucille was a member of Morristown United Methodist Church and the women's circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Dr. John A. Brown; one infant son; daughter, Bonnie Elizabeth, age 16; and brothers, Kenneth and Clifford Smith.

Surviving are her two children - daughter, Carol (Dennis) Blaney of Ashville, OH and son, John (Linda) Brown of Morristown, OH; five grandchildren, Dr. Diana Blaney of Altadena, CA, John Dwight (Lorraine) Blaney of Novato, CA, John (Rachel) Brown of Powell, OH, David Brown of Dublin, OH, and Dr. Elizabeth (Patrick) White of St. Louis, MO; four great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Nell) Smith of Odessa, TX, and sister-in-law, Sara B Smith of North Olmsted, OH. A special thank you to her neighbor, friend, and care giver, Marlene Schneider.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11 AM with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Union Township Cemetery in Morristown, Ohio.
