Martha McCabe, 97, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on December 6, 1922 in Batesville, Ohio to the late Howard and Amy (Colliflower) Pierce. Martha was a 1941 graduate of Batesville High School. She was a Methodist by faith. She was a past member of Magnolia Twig. She enjoyed quilting and all handy work and was generous to a fault. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Audie (Ted) McCabe, son-in-law, Eugene Rogers, and a brother, Allen Pierce. Martha is survived by her daughter, Anita Rogers of Barnesville; grandsons, Bradley (Cheryl) Rogers, Brent (Marilyn) Rogers, and Brock (Julie Lauer) Rogers; five great-grandchldren, J.C., Alyssa, Laura (Nathan), Lilia, Shannon, and Gloria; great-great grandchildren, Roen and soon to be River Lane; one neice and one nephew. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:30 at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio with Rev. Dale Warrick officiating. Arrangements are entrusted by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martha's memory to the 3 C Cancer Support Group or the Barnesville Senior Center.
