Marjorie S. "Dodgie" Hunter, 87, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehab. She was born on September 11, 1926 in Belmont County to the late Howard and Edith (Henderson) Skinner.
Marjorie was a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church and the Epworth Park Board. She was District Office Secretary for the First United Methodist Church, Office Secretary for the First United Methodist Church, R & R Trucking, and Treasurer of Epworth Park Board for 23 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Donald E. "Porky" Hunter and a brother - Wilford Skinner.
She is survived by 2 sons - Greg (Jody) Hunter of Barnesville and David (Donna) Hunter of Barnesville; 5 grandchildren - Sherry (Scott) Angelo, Leslie (Matthew) Daugherty, Holly (Brandon) Koch, Chad (Amanda) Hunter, and Randy (Breanna) Hunter; great-grandchildren - Madyson, Shayla, Braydon, Landon, Kensington, Chloe, and Josey; sister - Betty Meszaros; and special niece - Susan Richardson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 AM with Rev. Tom Detling and Pastor Ted Buehl officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Kirkwood Township.
