Loving wife of 52 years and devoted  mother, Marianne Lois McFrederick, 72, of Barnesville died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Barnesville Hospital.  She was born on December 2, 1940, in Barnesville to the late Earl Frank Phillips and Ethel Blanche Pittman Philllips Davis.

Marianne was a 1958 graduate of Barnesville High School and earned a college degree from BTC in Historic Building Preservation.  She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Mayberry and also as the director of the Belmont County Mansion Museum.  She was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Belmont County Geneology Society, First Families of Belmont County, Pioneer Families of Belmont County, and was a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of America.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Louise Obusek; brother, David Richard Phillips and granddaughter, Courtney Velvet McFrederick.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Thomas "Tom"  McFrederick of Barnesville; 3 Children: Mark Thomas (Sharon) McFrederick of Hartville, OH, Julia Louise (John) Paugstat of Marietta, OH, and William Edward "Bill" ( Suzanne) McFrederick of Barnesvillle; 5 grandchildren: Tiffany Lauren McFrederick, Tristin Mark McFrederick, Whitney Dawn McFrederick, Louisa Anne Paugstat and Olivia Joy Paugstat.

Services will be held at the convience of the family.  Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Mansion Museum or Belmont County Geneology Society.
