Marian B. Smith, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born September 5, 1921 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Guy and Ama (Frazier) Brown. She worked in the office for Barnesville Livestock and was a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Danford L. Smith (6/5/1989); 2 brothers - Harold and Carol Brown; and 2 sisters - Dorothy Harris and Doris Johnson. Surviving are 3 daughters - Judy (Robert) Hannahs of Barnesville, Janie (Jerry) Burkhart of Barnesville, and Joyce Hannahs of New Concord, Ohio; 6 grandchildren - Lesa Hannahs, Julie Paden, Angie (Greg) Bahmer, Aaron (Angela) Hannahs, Jennifer Reynolds, and Scott (Kristen) Young; and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11 AM with Rev. Tom Detling officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barnesville Library or Belmont County Animal Shelter.
