Margaret E. (Warfield) McCort, 88, of Barnesville fomerly of Somerton died Friday August 20, 2010 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born February 20, 1922, in Somerton the daughter of Nathan E. and Nora D. (Nicholson) Warfield. She was a seamstress at Barnesville Manufactoring, a cook at Somerton School for 13 years and a clerk at G. C. Murphy Co. store for 15 years. She was a member of the Somerton United Methodist Church, Past Matron of Somerton Order of Eastern Star 286, Order of Eastern Star # 206 of Barnesville and enjoyed all the Activities at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert A. (Abe) McCort of 60 years, her parents, 2 brothers Guy and George Warfield and daughter Mary Ann Goodhart. Surviving are 3 daughters Regina (George) Burtnett of Chandlersville, Becky (Roy) Steele of Barnesville, and Sandy (Joe Sligar) Conway of Barnesville and 12 grandchildren.20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and long time friend Doris Burkhart and family. Visitation will be Monday August 23,2010 from 4 to 8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with OES Services following visitation. Funeral Services will be Tuesday August 24 at 11am with the Pastors Jean Cooper and Ed Eberhart officating. Burial follws at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
