Margaret Ann Heskett, 82, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on February 6, 1939 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Walter and Martha Smith. Margaret was a 1957 graduate of Barnesville High School. She worked as a telephone operator, Lotus Glass, and as a dispatcher for the Barnesville Police Department. Margaret was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. She loved going out to eat with her good friend Sarah Parsons and talking on the phone to Shirley Moran from Florida. She loved her game shows, puzzle books and her cat Lucky and bird Gabby. She always looked forward to going to Annie K's with her classmates. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Herman Heskett on October 2, 2009. Margaret is survived by her five children, Glen (Linda) Heskett, John (Tina) Heskett, Lisa (Ron) Shilling, Jim (Kim) Heskett, and Scott (Diane) Heskett; fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandkids. Visitation will be held on Sunday June, 6, 2021 from 1:00-5:00pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be Monday June 7, 2021 at 11:00am with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Burial follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
