Lydia Mae Koontz, 11, of Barnesville, OH passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. She was born on June 13, 2006 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Amanda Jean Koontz (Koontz).

Lydia had just finished the fourth grade at Barnesville Elementary School.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Koontz and great-aunt, Clara Richmond.

Lydia is survived by her mother, Amanda Koontz of Barnesville and step-father, Jeremy Phillips; brother, Tripp Phillips; sister, Freya Phillips; grandmother, Nancy Gartrell of Florida; great-grandmother, Marion Whalen of Florida.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be private.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home.
