Louis E. "Jack" Starr, 81, of Temperanceville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Wheeling Medical Park. He was born on October 31, 1937, in Guernsey County, Ohio to the late Tim and Golden (Fisher) Starr. Jack was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of the Barnesville VFW Post 2792 and Batesville American Legion Post 578. In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene K. (Delong) Starr on November 8, 2010; Bernard Starr, Bob Starr, Dick Starr, Dan Starr, Irene Boyd, and Norma Wehr. Jack is survived by his son, Charles (Regina) Starr of Temperanceville; daughter, Tamela Starr of Temperanceville; four grandchildren, Amanda, Brandn, Joshua and Dustin; six great-granchildren, Cayden, Evan, Jayde, Jackson, Jerilyn, and Koltn; sister, Dee Stephens; and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 PM with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Calais Cemetery in Calais, Ohio.
