Lois A. Garrett, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio died Wednesday morning, June 22, 2011 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born May 12, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to the late Francis L. Menhorn and Helen D. (Benko) Menhorn Matthes. She was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Freeport, Ohio, the Barnesville Lions Club and was retired from the Summit Co. Dept. of Human Services with 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Howard P. Garrett (April 13, 2001). Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St Matthias Catholic Church in Freeport. Burial is at the convenience of the family at Northlawn Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
