Lisa Ann McGee Whitehurst, age 61, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Born July 4, 1962 in Barnesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee McGee and Ruthann Froehlich McGee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Brett McGee.

Lisa will be lovingly missed by her husband of 33 years, Steve Whitehurst; her daughter Leah Whitehurst; her brother Brad (Michele) McGee and her sister Beth McGee Brooks.

Lisa was a retired registered nurse in which she dedicated 35 years of service. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Lisa loved spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and showing off her dance moves.

A Mass will be conducted Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11 am at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 2275 Snow Rd N, Semmes, Alabama 36575. Private committal services will be held at McGee Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio
