Kenneth Wayne McCloud, 76, of Somerton, Ohio passed away Wednesday morning, May 30, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1935 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late William M. and Sarah Marple McCloud. He was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Bellaire Eagles Aerie 371 for 59 years. He loved playing his guitar and singing country music. He also loved to camp and fish at Seneca Lake. He was retired from Ormet in 1997 after 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers - Ernest, Donald, William, and James McCloud; sisters - Dorothy Parr Lutz, Louise Loker, Juanita McDonald, Roxie Kern, and Golden Gheen. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years - Janet Homan McCloud; 2 sons - Keith (Susan) McCloud of Barnesville and Paul (Sherry) McCloud of Powhatan, Ohio; 3 daughters - Tina (John) Heskett of Barnesville, Mary (Don) Fletcher of Barnesville, and Susan McCloud of the home; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Satuday, June 2, 2012 from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM with Rick Lallathin officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Somerton Cemetery in Somerton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Somerton Church of Christ, Barnesville 3 C's, Somerton Volunteer Fire Department, or Hospice of Guernsey County.
