Kathie Eileen Woodward McCluskey, 60, of Bennington Drive, Cross Lanes, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2011. She was born November 29, 1950, in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Jack W. Woodward and Jean Eleanor Welch Woodward. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 1973 and married David McCluskey in 1975. Kathie was an active member of Cross Lanes United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, David G. McCluskey and three daughters, Jacklyn McCluskey and Amy McCluskey of Pittsburgh, PA and Megan McCluskey of Cross Lanes, WV; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kathy Doudna Woodward of Clarkston, MI; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Lowry Kemmerling of Grove City, OH. Kathie was a child of God, delighting in the love of family and friends in Cross Lanes and across the country. She was the epitome of inspiration, courage, strength and love. Friends will be received at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, 320 Frontier Drive, Cross Lanes, WV, 25313, on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00am at Cross Lanes United Methodist Church. Burial will follow on Friday, September 23, 2011, at 1:00pm in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, OH. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Susan G. Komen For the Cure online at www.komen.org or by mail to P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX, 75265-0309. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, WV and Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, OH.
