Judy Kay Carpenter, 76, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on August 2, 1947, in Barnesville to the late Doyce and Juanita (Benton) Yockey.

Judy was former owner and operator of the Hallmark House in Barnesville and was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Barnesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John Yockey and Carol Rowe.

Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Daryl M. Carpenter whom she married on May 29, 1970; sons, Jason Carpenter and Josh Carpenter; four grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Abbie, and Griffen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm with Fr. Dave Cornett officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
