Joyce Kay Winland, 75, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1947 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Homer William and Lula (Stephen) Fitzgerald. Joyce loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, animals, and the outdoors. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by an infant son, Darrel Lee Swallie; sister, Evelyn Jean Clifton of California, Lucille Dowdle of Cadiz, Millie Shaffer of North Carolina, and Betty Davis of Bethesda; and her favorite dog, Maggie. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Todd) Hall of Barnesville, Connie (Scott) Graham of West Liberty, West Virginia, Tammy Winland of Barnesville, Misty (Leo) Bradford of Barnesville; sons, Kenneth "Moldy" Swallie , Rick Swallie, and David Swallie all of Barnesville; grandchildren, Breanna, Cameron, Cody, Dustin, Trista, Royce, Zachery, Christian, Sierra, Madison, Koby, Kaylor, Kaden, Trent, Haleigh, and Haydan; great-grandchildren, Presley, Emmett, Declan, and Parker; sisters, Lou (Jackie) Shaffer of Robinsville, North Carolina and Stella Webber of California; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, Tom Tom. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00am with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
