Josephine O. Lucas, 92, of Barnesville, Ohio died Sunday evening, June 12, 2011 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born September 10, 1918 in Noble County to the late Samuel and Catherine Powell Brownfield. She was a member of West Main Street Church of Christ and a retired seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband - Kenneth L. Lucas (9/3/1973); brothers - Raymond and Bill Brownfield; and sisters - Mary Bowen, Gladys Brownfield and Adelia Graham. Survived by a daughter - Patricia (Carl) Wells of Malaga, Ohio; 3 grandchildren - Brian (Vickie) Wells of Malaga, Beth (Kirk) Schwall of Gahanna, Ohio and Tony (Michelle) Wells of Malaga; 7 great grandchildren - Kelsi, Sarah and Andrew Schwall, William, Christopher, Alayna, and Brooke Wells and 2 great great grandchildren - Ryanna and Will Wells. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11 AM with Ev. Pat Gampp officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Main Street Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
