John Yanchak, 71, of Windsor Heights, WV passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital.  John was born in Wheeling, WV on June 18, 1949 to the late Anne Yanchak.

John was a graduate of Brooke High School and retired from Shoemaker Mine.

In addition to his mother, John was preceeded in death by his wife of 39 years, Patricia (McCourt) Yanchak.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelyn (Randolph) Vien of Pittsfield, NH; his son, John R. (Jaime Funari) Yanchak, Jr. of Barnesville, OH; 3 grandchildren: Kellie, Jocelyn and Richard Vien and Jose "Manny" Vazquez; and companion, Donna Marsh.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10am at Assumption Church, West Main St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
