John E. Peddicord, 76, of Barnesville died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Monroe County Care Center.  John was born in Barnesville, Ohio on February 5, 1941 to the late Harry and Marjorie Elizabeth "Libby" (Peddicord) Peddicord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, James Edwin Peddicord.

John was retired from the United States Army where he served during Vietnam.  John graduated from Barnesville High School in 1960 and is a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ.

John is survived by his sister, Ann (Larry) Paine of Beallsville, Ohio; nephew, Joe (Jennifer) Paine of Grove City; niece, Rebecca Paine of Dublin; and great-niece, Alycia Paine.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11am at Northern Cemetery.  Arrangements by Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  Military services will be conducted at Northern Cemetery by Bemont County Veteran's Association.
