John Timothy Lucas, 64, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born on September 7, 1956 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late James "Scottie" and Eloise (Miller) Lucas. John was a 1974 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was employed through the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 132. He was an avid hunter and a member of Seneca Sportsman Club and the Bethesda Sportsmans Club. He loved spending time with his family. His kids and grandkids meant the world to him, they were his everything. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two sons: Jason D. "Peck" Lucas and James D. "Jimmy" Lucas: and a grandson, Noah Jacob Lucas. John is survived by two sons: J.D. Lucas and Justin Lucas; grandchildren: Jadyn, Katlyn, Mykenzie, Riley, Lilly, Dillon, Lilah, Ivy, Brooklyn, and Peyton; brother, Joe (Candy) Lucas; " older sister" Mindy Flood; and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required for visitation on Sunday March 14, 2021 from 1-5pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio. Services will be on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
