John Donald "Duck" Swallie, 71, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Barnesville Manor. He was born on December 27, 1949 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late John Omar and Donna (Powell) Swallie. Duck was a 1968 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was a filler operator for United Dairy. Duck is survived by his two brothers, William Swallie of Barnesville and Tim Swallie of Leesville, South Carolina; a niece, Denise Spoon; three nephews, Lee Swallie, Timmy Swallie, and Tony Swallie; great niece, Hailey Spoon; and great nephew, Bill Spoon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00pm with Dr. Brian Bee officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home 319 N. Chestnut Street Barnesville, Ohio 43713. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
