John Glenn Carpenter, 49, of Barnesville passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital.  John Glenn was born in Barnesville on November 16, 1967 to John and Rose Ann (Huntsman) Carpenter of Barnesville.

John Glenn was a 1986 graduate of Barnesville High School and a member of the Boston Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, John Glenn is survived by a daughter, Caitlyn Rose Carpenter of Texas; sister, Shannon McEndree of Barnesville; niece, Peyton McEndree of Barnesville; and beloved cats, Shadow and Cairo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11am with Ev. Gale Yoho officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
