Jerry Robert Wittenbrook, 76, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at WVU Medicine - Barnesville Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1945, in Barnesville to the late Robert and Kathleen (Arick) Wittenbrook. Jerry was a 1963 graduate of Barnesville High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. He was a telephone lineman for GTE for nearly thirty years where he later retired. He was a longtime member and president of the Bethesda Sportsman Club where he served many roles. He was also a member of the NRA and American Legion Post #90. Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Laura (McGee) Wittenbrook; children, Lenny Wittenbrook of Belmont and Jill (Brian) Loase of Bethesda; three grandchildren, Nickolas Wittenbrook, Alison Loase, and Carter Loase; one great-grandchild, Ella Wittenbrook; siblings, Sandra Gibson of Virginia and Wayne (Candy) Wittenbrook of Barnesville. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 4-7pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 1:00pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery with military honers being given by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
